The HIV Friendly program was created to improve awareness regarding HIV in Pennsylvania. The program was designed and implemented by the HIV Prevention and Care Project, at the University of Pittsburgh, in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of HIV Health. HIVfriendlyPA.com serves as a resource for the HIV Friendly program, including dates and locations of on-going HIV Friendly presentations. To register for an HIV Friendly presentation, visit our registration page.
Participants who attend an HIV Friendly presentation will learn the basics of HIV, identify the ways in which stigma and discrimination negatively impact people living with HIV, and learn how to create inclusive, HIV Friendly communities for all Pennsylvanians.
